Appointment TV

Appointment TV is when nothing else matters in the world, its just me and the boob tube. A lot of the television shows are silly and I won't be watching, but with the new Fall line up there are some that I can't help but tune in.

K'Ville Monday's 9:00PM FOX
Anthony Anderson plays Marlin Boulet, a veteran of the NOPD's Felony Action Squad, was left stranded in the waters by his partner, but still attempted to keep some little bit of order to all the chaos that was going on during the hurricane. He now has a new partner with ulterior motives, Trevor Cobb, who is fresh back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Together the two work the streets of New Orleans, trying to make it a better place. Helping them on their crusade are fellow officers Jeff Gooden, Captain James Embry, Billy Faust, and the lone female officer, Ginger LeBeau.K-Ville was shot on location in New Orleans. Jonathan Lisco, the series writer and executive producer, toured parts of New Orleans with actual New Orleans Police Officers before writing the pilot in hopes of making the series as real as possible.

Ugly Betty Thursday's 8PM ABC
Betty Suarez has always had one goal in life: to make it into the publishing business. Despite being smart, hard-working, and productive, her dream has always been shadowed by the fact that she isn't the best looking young woman. However, she is now determined to do whatever it takes to fulfill that ultimate dream.Ugly Betty stars America Ferrera in the title role. The show is based on the wildly popular Colombian telenovela which has already been successfully translated in Mexico, India, Russia, and Germany - all to stellar ratings.

I got pulled into this show this past weekend, watching the marathon of Ugly Betty. Now IM

24- Monday's 9pm FOX
24, last year’s most Emmy Award-winning television series with five Emmys, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Kiefer Sutherland) and Outstanding Drama Series, is one of the most innovative, thrilling and acclaimed drama series on television. Created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, the series will retain its unique and trend-setting format in the seventh season. Each episode will cover one hour of real time, and the season’s entire story will take place in one day. Once again, viewers will follow Jack Bauer through a day that none of them will ever forget.

This is a old favorite, I hope they speed things up a lil bit, after a few episodes where they didnt blow anything up, it got slow and kinda stale. Im fan, so I will still suffer through with it.

Speaking of blowing things up...am I the only one that watches Mythbusters???

Mythbusters is tight. I like those two geek-boys. But wait. Where were all the "Black" shows on your list?! What? No "Hell Date," or "Hot Ghetto Mess," or any of BET's other socially uplifting fare?

I'm feelin' K-ville, I think. That first one was aw-ight. Gotta see if we can fit it into the rotation. I know "24" betta improve over last season, or we out!

You don't watch "Lost"?

Or, better still, the best drama ever on T.V.: "The Wire"?! You need to fit that one--and the Ultimate Fighting Championship and "Friends" reruns--into your appt. book.

I can't watch Kimora. Her voice and demeanor is soooooooooo irritating!

I originally started watching Kville...but then Heroes came back on. The show is so addictive. I'm still tryng to see how saving the cheerleader saved the world though!

I got rid of cable because I was too busy watching TV and not getting anything else done, but I will have to see the season premiere of Girlfriends and The Game, but I do miss not being able to see The Wire and Big Love.

Is the Wire back on are we talking about the reruns?
