Miss Michigan

When I say its hard to come back to NC after a wonderful winter weekend this is what I'm really missing:

My church (click the logo to go to the website)

My Daddy - The man in the middle is my father, although he doesn't remember me because of Alzheimer's, it doesn't stop me from having the desire to visit with him.

My Bookclub - these chicks are hilarious and they got my back - love 'em!! We had our holiday party the weekend I came home, we had a great time fellowshipping together. We played secret Santa and I had Nai, the chick in the blue, she's wearing the sweater I bought her. We all started crying like some big ponks at her announcement of her pregnancy. It's a good thing, she's married. It's a shame that a happy pregnancy has to be clarified.

"Where only the GOOD chicks get in" is their motto. OMG peoples! this is the best place in Kalamazoo for chicken!!! Where else could Kool-Aid be a headliner on the menu???? Various flavors of sauces like Habenaro Mango and Jamaican Jerk. My absolute favorite has got to be the HONEY HEAVEN...stop drooling on your keyboard. You get your choice of flava, a mess of fries, and a large Kool-aid (flavors of Red, Grape, Tropical Punch, & Lime all with that extra hint of lemon!!!!) all for $7

Oh, and I can't forget the GUILTY PLEASURE. (To my readers on the other side of the state, if you recognize the man in the photo, please don't tell me. My heart can't take it. LOL. No, seriously don't tell me.)

I can say that while in NC I'm gainfully employed which is more than I can say about the life I had back in Michigan. All in all, the move was not in vain.

On another note, I know I haven't been posting, now I have a whole lot to say before the end of the year so please read more than just the first post! Thanks!

NC can't be all that bad. I'm sure it is quite an adjustment though.
I grew up here and I love it to pieces. I lived in Tennessee for two years and I came running back. I swear you need a passport to go over there.
But you're in Greensboro, you'll be fine. I went to A&T so I know it like the back of my hand. It's actually not a bad spot.
