My favorite part comes near the end when Sally gets pissed off at Linus because she's waited all night and missed out on the "tricks and treats." I know you all aren't going to watch 25 mins of Charlie Brown while you're at work, so I will give you her lines right here:
I was robbed! I spent the whole night waiting for the Great Pumpkin, when I could've been out for Tricks or Treats! (gasps at what she just said) Halloween is over and I missed it! You blockhead. You kept me up all night waiting for the
Great Pumpkin, and all that came was a BEAGLE! I didn't get a chance to go out for Tricks or Treats! And it was all your fault! I'LL SUE! What a fool I was. I could've had candy, apples, and gum. And cookies and money and all sorts of things. BUT NO! I had to listen to you! You blockhead. What a fool I was. Tricks
or Treats come only once a year, and I missed it by sitting in a pumpkin patch with a blockhead! YOU OWE ME RESTITUTION! (shaking him bythe collar of his shirt)
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

It's amazing how much Charlie Brown & The Peanuts gang has seemed to stand the test of time
yeah, don...just like the simpsons. we'll be dead and gone and they'll never change.
for some reason, i always thought the term "kick rocks" came from charlie brown getting rocks instead of candy during halloween....lol
Sheletha you are toooooooo funny!
I guess we're still little kids at heart!
For me it's March of the Wooden Soldiers with Laurel & Hardy during Christmas. It's such a silly movie, but I love it!
(in my most manly voice) I love that one!
You're right Sheletha this really puts me in the mood for Halloween and fall.
btw, you've been tagged check it out on my page.
This is too darn cute!!!
I love to watch "The Great Pumpkin" but really not a big fan of Halloween. Trick or Treating wasn't allowed in the neighborhood I grew up in; the schools had parties/dances instead...and I didn't even look forward to that because while everybody else was wearing their store-bought princess or super hero costumes, my darling(?) mother INSISTED I wear her home-made costume (ya'll know...the sheet with the eyes cut out; as I got older the whole head was cut out & she would use face paint...)
Damn...my childhood sucked...(walking away depressed now...)
KiKi = Charlie Brown
"I got a rock"
YES!
Why was I glued to my television last night watching this and I remembered every word. I used to try and be just like Lucy and now I see how terrible she was haha.
