If there is a cure for this, I don't want it...

Shoes, Shoes, Glooorious Shoes...

I recently had a conversation with a good friend of mine; we analyzed that I am not in a good place right now. Well, Im in the place where Ive been planted, but I have not started to grow. If that makes any sense.

So, what has been the cure for a love hangover??? SHOPPING. Shopping and getting shoes specifically. Its the only outlet that keeps my mind off of the events that are occuring. Im not shopping out of budget; bills are still getting paid, and money is still going into savings, so I have learned from my past by not getting into more debt. If you remember my 101 Things about Me #53 was that I have 117 pairs of shoes. Since then..that number has increased. Pictured above are the shoes that I have purchased in the last two months. Distractingly Flyy??? Yeah, I know. It's a problem nonetheless. Well, its a problem if I make it. If you notice, there are two pairs of shoes that EXACTLY THE SAME!!! just two different colors. Who, besides Oprah, does that???

This is my favorite shoe website: ENDLESS SHOES & HANDBAGS THESE SHOES ARE SICK!

Needless to say, I have put myself on punishment. I have to stay in the house for the next few weeks unless Im MAKING MONEY, or going out on someone elses expense.

You might be sick but as long as you have cute feet, it's all good. Think Boomerang!

Love the shoes, especially the one with the loop that goes around the big toe. I think my wife has a similar shoe.

That damn BOomerang movie created a flux of pedicure appointments

LOL. I feel ya. What curtailed my shoe spending is maintaining all my shoes. Hell, I forget what I have and I hate going throuh my closet now. SMH. I start sweating going into the "cave". I have limited space so I really feel closed in with my tons of shoes and books.

If you stay in, stay away from online shopping. I was at home one day and had like 3 UPS shipments in one week. LOL.

Oh, duh. I axed this question in the previous entry's comment section: Which two pair are the same? The black ones and white ones?

I've always said thats it's so unfair that women have vastly more shoe options than men. One of the trade-offs, I guess, in the war between the sexes.

Dang! You only wear a 7 1/2. I woulda jacked you for your shoes. You got some lil feet. LOL>

Hi Sheletha! Just passing through thinking "Why is she putting herself on punishment when all her bills are paid and she is saving!?" I say continue to shop and enjoy your shoe fetish! All of those shoes are fierce! From one fellow libra to another, take time to nurse your love hangover and buy as many shoes as your heart desires. You deserve them!

Btw, I also buy shoes in two different colors and cute shirts as well.

Oh chica, that Endless site may be the Good Stuff! I bought these fabulous pieces of foot jewelry that day I was chatting with you while at the NBAF and I need some "distractingly flyy" is it? thong sandals to wear with them!

dag...I've not bought ONE new pair of shoes this WHOLE year (I guess you're making up for my lack). Anyway, if you're doing what you've got to do with your money then nothing wrong with treating yourself. I like those brown ones best.

I'm gonna need for you to submit a DNA sample. We must be related. Nothing sick about a love for shoes, if there is a cure I don't want it. Nope! I don't have any shame...
